Waypoint Aviation Enterprises’ mission is to further general aviation by empowering pilots to fly more and by assisting more people to learn how to fly.
We provide aviation-related services to pilots because, having been involved with aviation for over 40 years, we’re passionate about supporting the general aviation enthusiast.
We are located in North Texas, about an hour west of the DFW metroplex, at the Bridgeport Municipal Airport (KXBP) known for typically having the lowest fuel price in the area.

I have held Airframe & Powerplant and Inspection Authorization for many years. My first experience with avionics work was at the age of 5 when my father began bringing me with him to work at Avionics, Inc. at Lunken Field in Cincinnati, Ohio. I was there so often that they put me to work helping with odd jobs and shadowing. As I learned skills over the years, I was officially employed and my assignments expanded. This is where I learned the work ethic and quality of work that I’ve applied ever since. Over the past 40 years, I’ve worked on many different airplanes and systems whether while working for myself, for other companies, or while enlisted in the Airforce as a Crew Chief on C-130s. It is also now my joy to pass on to my son the foundation that my father gave me.
A career in operations, including some 15 years in executive management, has awarded me with an abundance of experience in business management and administration. My more recent focus on Quality System Management and Compliance has served me well in my current management role. From researching airworthiness directive (A.D.) notes and logbooks to handling all accounting aspects, I am best positioned to help keep the technicians in the shop working on customer projects.
I am excited to be able to work shoulder to shoulder with my dad, while he teaches me all about the aviation business. I especially love seeing him in action in the shop and sharing his numerous stories with customers. Trying to pick up from all his experience is an intimidating task that I’m taking on day by day. Someday I hope to know as much as he does and be able to fill his shoes.
